Brno at One Table

On Mendl Square, the very place where German-speaking Brno residents were expelled 80 years ago in May, we will come together at one table. Present-day Brno residents and those with roots in the city will have the opportunity to listen to one another, strengthen mutual relationships, and share both good food and meaningful presence.

The neighborhood celebration will welcome figures who build bridges between Czechs and Germans and will be enriched by the musical ensemble Jazz aus Brno. Performers include Simi Barazi (vocals), Tomáš Vrtek (piano), Ladislav Muroň (flute), Alma Trunk (trombone), Lorenz Heigenhuber (bass), and Hans Fickelscher (drums).

The program will be held in Czech and German.
