How to Find the Way Again?

“The only one capable of being radical and dynamic for centuries is God. He constantly moves along new paths, and we simply can’t keep up, we fall behind. And so, it happens that sometimes we end up stuck in one place. We need to look around and seek the way again,” says Abbotess Francesca Šimuniová of the Benedictine Abbey of Venio. In this discussion, whether they and their religious communities are keeping up with God’s guidance will be explored and discussed by Martina Viktorie Kopecká, pastor of the Czech Hussite Church and festival president, Sandra Silná, pastor of the Czech Hussite Church, Francesca Šimuniová, Benedictine, and Fatima Rahimi, a “non-practicing Muslim.”

The discussion, with an all-female panel, will be moderated by Ivan Foletti, author of the book Women at the Altar? The Virgin Mary and Gender in Early Christianity.

The event will be held only in Czech.
