Benešovi in Brno – Premiere

The Czechoslovak Republic is saved, and the consequences of the Munich Agreement have been averted. But at what cost? Did Edvard Beneš contribute to the progressive collapse of democracy and how?

In a new play staged specifically for the Meeting Brno festival, we get a glimpse into the private life of the Beneš family during their stay at Villa Stiassni in Brno after the war.

The script was written by Markéta Špetíková and the play was directed by Michal Zetel.
