Liechtenstein is meeting Brno – Johann II of Liechtenstein in Moravia
A popular lecture about a prince whose collections and donations continue to enrich Moravian museums to this day. Yet Johann II of Liechtenstein’s legacy in this region goes beyond the arts; in his domains he supported industry, founded hospitals and orphanages and was instrumental in the establishment of the first nature preserve in Moravia, today known as the Šerák-Keprník National Park.
The talk about the prince, who earned the sobriquet “the Good”, will be presented by Johann Kräftner, director of the Liechtenstein Princely Collections.
Programme will be held in english and will be simultaneously interpreted to czech.
