Tuesday / 29. 05. 2018
kulturní prostor PRAHA, Husova 18

18:00

How do we view 28th October 1918, a significant turning point in our history? How does it look from the perspective of the events of 1938, 1948, 1968, 1989? Was that then a victory of democracy or nationalism? What did we lose through the break-up of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the formation of Czechoslovakia? And did we remain the same in any ways? The debate will feature guests and contributors to Salon, a literary and cultural supplement of the daily newspaper, Právo. At the end, the book All the Best- A Thousand Issues and Twenty Years of Právo Salon will be launched, containing a collection of the best articles published over the past twenty years.
