Patrik Ouředník, Europeana: Brief History of the Twentieth Age

An original walk through the memory of the past century, based on the book Europeana: A Brief History of the Twentieth Age by Patrik Ouředník (2001). In addition to real events, the author tells crazy anecdotes and mixes reality with fiction.
There is a man and a woman on stage. He’s sixty years old, she’s thirty. He is the famous French actor Arnault Lecarpentier, she is a young talented actress Lucie Boissonneau. They are our guides through „history“ and „stories“ of the 20th century, its key moments, thoughts, catastrophes … They are a sort of a mirror of our relationship to memory.
